Spray Guard®
Economical Choice for High-End Erosion Control
Product Overview

Spray Guard® Cross-Linked Fiber Matrix

Spray Guard® is a Cross-linked Fiber Matrix (CFM) designed to be used within the SMM/BFM specification category when a cost-effective, high-performance erosion control and vegetative establishment product is needed.

No cure time is required — Spray Guard® adheres to soil immediately, creating an instant barrier from pounding rain. As a Cross-linked Fiber Matrix, it chemically bonds with soil and forms a strong, porous wood fiber mat that holds up in rainy conditions while allowing vegetation to easily penetrate the growth matrix.

  Key Benefits

  •  No Cure Time Required — immediate stabilizing results from application
  •  Application versatility — bonds to virtually all slopes and soil types

Why Spray Guard®

Features & Benefits

High-end erosion control performance at an economical price point — no cure time, no compromises.

No Cure Time Required — Immediate Results

Phase II compliant Spray Guard® adheres to soil immediately, creating an instant barrier from pounding rain right from application. You don’t need to wait for a curing window — Spray Guard® delivers immediate stabilizing results and performs as well as higher-cost alternatives from the moment it’s applied.

  Cross-Linked Chemistry for Stronger Performance

As a Cross-linked Fiber Matrix, Spray Guard® chemically bonds with soil and forms a strong, porous wood fiber mat. The cross-linking creates tensile strength that holds up in rainy conditions, while the porous structure allows vegetation to easily penetrate the growth matrix — enhancing germination rates and speeding up the visual establishment of your project.

  Economical Choice for SMM/BFM Specifications

Spray Guard® is designed specifically for the SMM/BFM specification category, giving you a high-performance product that meets agency requirements at a cost-effective price. It saves on labor (no site prep needed, hydraulic application), and material costs versus blanket alternatives, without sacrificing the erosion protection and establishment results your clients expect.
