Mesic® Wood Mulch is made from 100% virgin wood fibers for use in hydraulic seeding or temporary erosion control. Mesic® forms a protective mulch mat that aids in erosion control, holds seeds in place, and provides an excellent environment for seed germination.

Designed to load quickly, Mesic® fibers are an ideal size for swift and easy loading into application equipment. It quickly forms a consistent slurry with water, seed, and fertilizer and outperforms paper and straw products as a versatile base mulch that stabilizes soil and prevents wind and water erosion.

  Application Rates

Minimum application rates: ≤4:1 slope: 1,500 lbs/acre (1,682 kg/ha) • 3:1–2:1 slope: 2,000 lbs/acre (2,803 kg/ha) • >2:1 slope: 2,500 lbs/acre (3,363 kg/ha). For best erosion control performance, use in conjunction with EarthGuard® Liquid.
