EZ Mulch is a user-friendly alternative to straw for seed establishment. It contains no weed seeds and contains much less dust than straw. Typically, 50 to 70 pounds covers 1,000 square feet.
EZ Mulch’s granular texture provides excellent coverage, making it more economical than other pelleted mulches. This improved coverage reduces soil and water runoff. The granules expand as they absorb water. After germination, the mulch biodegrades, adding beneficial organic matter to the soil.

Unlike straw, EZ Mulch contains absolutely no weed seed and produces much less dust during application. There’s no messy cleanup after application, and no risk of introducing invasive species to your project site. The heavy-duty, puncture-resistant bags keep the product contained right up until use.
EZ Mulch can be applied by hand, with a drop spreader, or hydraulically in a hydroseeder — making it one of the most versatile mulch products available. It mixes faster in a hydroseeder than most baled mulches, reducing tank loading time and getting you back to applying sooner.
