Persistent odors, defused. Some daily cover operations face odor challenges that a standard application cannot fully address. Posi-Shell® OS3 Additive is a concentrated liquid odor neutralizer mixed directly into Posi-Shell® before application, adding another layer of odor control without changing your equipment, mix cycle, or application process.
OS3 works across three complementary functions: it helps Posi-Shell® seal the waste surface to limit malodor escape at the source, it pairs with the proprietary mineral binder in Posi-Shell® to filter odorous gases attempting to escape the cover layer, and it introduces natural odor-neutralizing compounds that reduce and eliminate remaining malodors on contact.
Non-toxic, non-hazardous, and biodegradable. Concentration is operator-adjustable from a starting rate of ½ gallon per 1,000 gallons of Posi-Shell®, so crews can dial in the response to actual site conditions and odor intensity.

OS3 uses natural odor-neutralizing compounds that pair with and eliminate malodor molecules on contact. The reaction is immediate and nonreversible, so treated cover keeps performing rather than fading like a fragrance.
OS3 amplifies the sealing and filtering already built into Posi-Shell®, giving daily cover operations a stronger response to persistent odors without switching to a specialty cover system.
Recommended starting rate is ½ gallon of OS3 per 1,000 gallons of Posi-Shell®. Concentration can be adjusted by the operator to match odor intensity, seasonal changes, or challenging waste streams.
OS3 mixes directly into Posi-Shell® before application. Use any LSC PSA-Series applicator or a standard hydroseeder. No new equipment, no new mix procedure, no crew retraining.
